This 1940's bungalow in the highly sought after Woodstock neighborhood of Southeast Portland, is a real charmer. We've celebrated it's roots with true to era hardware, fixtures, custom porcelain tile, and oak flooring throughout. Dedicated fiber-optic wifi, Roku, and an alternate power source for peace of mind. No hard shut-offs in Winter storms! Stocked kitchen, luxury bedding (700+T.C.), cozy woodstove, and extras everywhere! Giant cedars, 16x20 patio, fruit trees, lilac, iris, BBQ, enjoy!
We lived here until our family outgrew this cute bungalow. This is the rental that doesn't feel like a rental. Every detail has been thought of to make this Woodstock Area Bungalow stay true to it's roots. We've respected the old school charm of custom tile work, hardwood floors, glass door knobs, and custom lighting. Nestled in a very quiet, sought after neighborhood, this two bedroom, one bath bungalow is a beauty: 736 square feet, on huge 7,000 square foot lot. Mature natural landscape, with fruit trees (Asian pear, Purple fig, White fig, Pear), lilacs, huge cedars, flowering plants, vintage tulips and iris). You won't find another home for rent with this kind of appeal.
New, top-of-the-line, energy efficient windows throughout, and LED lighting throughout. Wood-stove for heating alternative.
Huge 16' X 20', custom, stamped concrete patio in backyard.
You'll be quite comfortable here. We're confident of that.
The Woodstock neighborhood in Southeast Portland is one of the most desirable locations in Portland. Property values are very high in this area, as properties get grabbed up just as soon as they go on the market. That is because the Woodstock neighborhood has all the appeal of Portland, wrapped up in a nice neat package, without going downtown. There are tons of cute shops, restaurants, markets, and more. We're also nestled right next to East Moreland and Sellwood neighborhoods, known for the beauty and the ample antique stores. This house is just half a block from public transportation, so hopping downtown is a snap too.
We'd fixed this place up for ourselves, back before it was too small for our family. It's not your ordinary rental.
